Studies have shown that there is a correlation between creativity, locus of control and happiness.

The studies have found a positive correlation between external locus of control and creativity, and between creativity and happiness.


Locus of control: If you believe that due to your skills and effort you are in control of your own success or failure, you have an internal locus of control. If you believe that your life is controled by outside forces like fate, chance, luck, it is said that you have an external locus of control.


In other words, happy people who believe in their own capacity of achieving their goals, are also more creative than the unhappy people who have an external locus of control (who believe everything is due to chance).

So, to be creative, you have to believe in yourself, your capacity of achieving your set goals, and be happy.

Right. But what makes us happy and why?
