Learning Organization: A learning organization is an organization that facilitates and encourages the learning of its members, and as a consequence develops a capacity to innovate and develop in a sustainable manner.

 

When talking about learning organizations and the elements that are at the basis of a successful one, personal mastery doesn’t necessarily come to mind. However, a learning organization starts with the individual and its level of personal development, and the mental models that we, as individuals, hold. Next comes the team and its capacity to develop a shared vision and learn (as a team). System thinking is the keystone.
